#28 A tshirt

My brother bought this for me in Taiwan. I think it's a little big for me (I clearly like all my clothing in a very precise tiny size), but I still end up wearing it as I don't own that much clothing.

It's Astro Boy if you couldn't tell.

#27 Underwear

I've bought six new pairs of underwear since I came to the UK, yet I don't have that much. This leaves me wondering what the hell I was wearing before I got here.

#25 A tshirt

I bought this in Indonesia, making it one of the oldest pieces of clothing I own. It's a bootleg BAPE shirt that says "Ape Shall Never Kill Ape".

#24 Underwear

Oooh, colours, how exciting. I either fucked up the weave while taking off the label, or these are incredibly shoddily made. Or both!

#23 A sock

This project is pretty ridiculous.

#22 Underwear

These aren't very exciting.

#21 A Sock

Red and grey! I rarely wear matching socks. Currently I'm wearing this one and a black and grey striped one.

#20 A sleeve?

This was cut off a pair of pants (it's part of a leg) I bought in Seattle last year on my bicycle trip after I experienced a critical ass failure on the shorts I was wearing.

I abandoned it (and it's twin) in my friend's house, but found them again on my way back to Canada a month later. I took them thinking I could make sleeves or something out of them, but that hasn't happened yet. So really it's just theoretical clothing.

#19 A sock

I wish this was black and blue striped. Oh well.

#18 A t-shirt

This is an awesome t-shirt! So exciting! Unfortunately it's a kid's shirt and is too small for me, so I can only really wear it under other shirts unless I want to go around exposing my midriff (I do not).

#17 An Ankle Sock

I believe I have three socks in this style.

So after spending way too much time taking photos of sock and underwear earlier this week I really can't deal with taking any more photos of clothes for a while, so that's going to be the majority of what you see for the next while.

#16 A wrist band

Now this is totally awesome, it's a Teenage Mutant Hero* Turtles wrist band. Judging by the colour you can tell this was for Donatello, who used to be my favourite turtle (now it's totally Raphael). I think I also had another wrist band and some sort of head band/mask.

* I think I got this in the UK, where ninjas were too violent for kids, so all/most of the merchandise had the title changed.

#15 A Sock

I'm now wondering how I can make pictures of socks more interesting.

#14 An ankle sock

Slightly more interesting than yesterday! This is one of my last socks left over from SE Asia (where bigger socks were both too hot and took up more space in my backpack).

As thrilling as all these sock pictures are there's something even more boring. Taking photos of socks, realizing you've fucked up, and having to retake every photo of your socks because you can't tell which is which as they're pretty much all black.

And then uploading new sock photos.

So #1, #2, #10, and #13 are all new photos. I was going to make those links, but nobody would ever follow them.

#13 A sock

These aren't too exciting.

#12 A t-shirt

I really like The Presets and regret only seeing them once while I lived in Vancouver.

However, this shirt actually came from the children's section of a Value Village. Solid. It has faded a lot, but I still love the rainbow skull made up of plants and animals (click to see a slightly bigger version).

Here's the first video youtube throws up.

#11 A Tie

This is the first tie I've owned since I was a little kid and had a black and yellow striped one for school (um, primary 1-3, kindergarten - grade 2, something like that).

I hated them. I still hate them.

I bought this for a gangster costume last halloween. I tied it with some elaborate knot I found on the internet because I had no idea how to tie one.

#10 A Sock

Thrilling, I know.

#9 Underwear

Not my most exciting underwear.

#8 A Hoodie

One of two hoodies I bought in South Korea. You'll note that the zipper is broken. I want a new hoodie, but I can never find a nice, zip up, black hoodie. Drat!

The text is classic Konglish. It says "Smex", "A Different", and "Smexholic" (not even smexAholic). Oh Korea.

#7 The other knee sock

Ooh! A pair, how exciting.

#6 A knee sock

Another sock, how exciting. A couple of years ago I was putting together a Tintin costume for halloween (making this the the third post in a row mentioning comics), but I couldn't find any knee high white socks. Eventually I did find some in a two pack with these in the women's section of Sears. I ended up having a conversation with the woman working at the checkout, and she asked if I was from Asia. How strange.

#5 Underwear

I bought these in Thailand. They're too small for me (I think they're actually for kids), so I pretty much just wear them in emergency situations (ie. I forgot to do laundry). The important think you might not be able to note from the above picture is that the feature Dr. Doom. Aw yeah.

#4 A t-shirt

My newest item of clothing! It's a Flash tshirt sent to me by a friend. I've never worn it, and probably never will unless I need something to wear while sleeping. (It's not really my colour.)

#3 Suspenders

"What the hell are those?" you may be asking. They're suspenders from a pair of pants that I bought in South Korea to go with a halloween costume a few years ago. And because I needed new pants. They are incredibly thrashed, missing pieces, and held together with random pieces of metal (much like the pants to be honest). They were never actually used to suspend anything, they pretty much just hung down from the pants.

I took them off the pants a while ago for some reason or other, so they get their own entry.

#2 An ankle sock

Again, not the most interesting of things. I haven't worn these in months as it is winter time and cold. They are awesome in hot weather.

#1 A black sock

Not really the most exciting thing to start off with, but that's how these things go. I think it's inside out. However it is representative of what is to come, I own more individual socks than any other item of clothing. Some of them even match.
